  • February 18, 2011. Airstrip Project Land Inspection in Beau Sejour assisting RAM mission (Remote Area Medical) in Beau Sejour is located at about 950 meters on the mountain a three hours walking distance on foot or mule.
  • April 19, 2011 second meeting with the OFNAC (office National Aviation Civile) in Haiti requesting landing permit to land RAM airplane in Médor to provide "remote area medical mission".
  •  April 19,2011 Land Inspection in Beau Sejour Leogane to build an airstrip for a new air ambulance service and RAM Remote Area Medical Mission.
  • April 28, 2011 Arts & Crafts program for youth in Beau Sejour, Leogane.
  • April 29, 2011- Second trip to Beau Sejour, Leogane. Our Director who was waiting in Leogane to be picked up by Father Ronal and he never make it to the location until 2 days later, a couple voice messages and text messages received from an interpreter mentioned that Father Ronal pass away. Later our organization received this email from Theresa Patterson, Parish Twinning Program. read below:

     Fr. Ronal Flervil:  For any of you who may have known Fr. Flervil, especially from his days at St. Isidore on the island of La Gonave, he apparently died this past week from malaria.  Ironically, Fr. John Tapp, Karen Jensen and others from Holy Family in St. Petersburg, FL were making their yearly visit to Beau-Sejour this week and when they arrived in the parish, they found that Fr. Ronal was ill.  They got him to a hospital, but shortly after he died.  This indeed is a very sad day.  Fr. Ronal was a wonderful, caring priest who was dearly loved by the people of his parish.  He and Holy Family have exchanged visits each year since the beginning of their relationship in 2008.  This has obviously been very devastating for Fr. John, Karen and all Holy Family parishioners.  Please keep Fr. Ronal, his parish, and the people of Holy Family in your prayers.

RAMUSA donated a Cessesna 260 for the purpose of moving patients from the remote area of Haiti to the city hospitals.

 Free Ambulance Service in Remote Area of Haiti will start soon.

FONDESCH is a collaborating Partner of Remote Area Medical in Haiti, providing program support and logistic but not limited to airport crew, medevac patients, volunteering on medical expeditions and airstrip construction &  maintenance.

FONDESCH is also reaching out to street kids in difficult situation. The way we do group counseling to youth in difficult situation is to share and show positive attitude, love and be at their level. (mission updates)
